Operated on behalf of HM Coastguard, by international aviation service Bristow Group, Caernarfon Search and Rescue is home to state-of-the-art helicopters equipped with the latest search and rescue technology. The base covers vast land and sea areas across Wales and the North West of England, including Snowdonia and the Irish Sea.
Caernarfon Search and Rescue required internal doors to meet the high security requirements and building needs associated with a life saving, aviation environment.
Caernarfon Search and Rescue said: “The Defender Safeguard doors are of excellent quality and a great fit for the building and requirements of the environment. Due to the nature of the building, it did take preparation to ensure the doors were delivered for a certain date to avoid disruption. We were impressed with how Metador tailored their delivery schedule to suit our needs.”
